It’s a long post, but I wanted everyone to see the power of God… this young woman Kesha has been an online contact for a couple of months. We started to converse online quite randomly, but we’ve never met in person – she lives in Dominica, and for those of you who don’t know, I live in Barbados. (She’s given me permission to post this here.) Here’s what happened when I started to hear a prophetic word for her…..
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
WELL STAY IN gOD’S GRACE
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
ALL WILL BE WELL
BajanPOET – Knighted by the King says:
yeah What’s on in London? U working or on vacation?
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
AM MAKING HERE MY NEW HOMW
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
HOME
BajanPOET – Knighted by the King says:
ok! Well I hope all is well with you…”The Lord bless you and keep you, the Lord make his face to shine upon you and give you peace.”
BajanPOET – Knighted by the King says:
I felt the Lord tell me “controversy”…. was there opposition surrounding your move or is there controversy in any other area of your life?
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
what
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
really
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:

BajanPOET – Knighted by the King says:
Does that word mean something to you?
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
yes it does
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
imagine i did not realise that ur were the one i told i am in London
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
honestly i am not, i thought it was some Dominican guy he got an address just like ur’s but then i just checked again an realise that it is u
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
are u there
BajanPOET – Knighted by the King says:

BajanPOET – Knighted by the King says:
I’m here
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
the thing is i am tyrying to get to London and there are couple set s
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
and i feel some people trying to destroy me
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
this is why i am trying to leave
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
i left my job
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
so i was making the guy think that i left all ready
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
did the lord really tell u this
BajanPOET – Knighted by the King says:
yes
BajanPOET – Knighted by the King says:
and he also was telling me to tell u that running away won’t solve your problems.
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
i can’t stop reading what u just told me
BajanPOET – Knighted by the King says:
You will go to London
BajanPOET – Knighted by the King says:
but you need to run into the arms of Jesus
BajanPOET – Knighted by the King says:
let him be your protector.
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
u bring tears to my eyses
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
please keep on talking to him
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
i just wana see what the other world has to offer
BajanPOET – Knighted by the King says:
Do not let the words of others cut you down. “The name of the Lord is a strong tower. The righteous run into it and are safe”
BajanPOET – Knighted by the King says:
He will keep you.
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
i am here with u
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
but i am in so much tears
BajanPOET – Knighted by the King says:
Run into my arms, my daughter. Do not be afraid. I will keep you… I will sustain you.
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
I felt the Lord tell me “controversy” was there opposition surrounding your move or is there controversy in any other area of your life please break this down for me
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
i understand what it means
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
but are there any particular areas he whould u
BajanPOET – Knighted by the King says:
ok I will ask the Lord to help me. Everything I’ve written above was from him, by the way
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
it’s a long while we have not spoken and he is the one who allow me to talk to u today
BajanPOET – Knighted by the King says:
I hear “Relationships were broken. Covenants were broken. Trust lost.
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
with who
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
with the lord and I or with people
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
BajanPOET – Knighted by the King says:
Actually, no… I felt there was a man in there somewhere…. If not a boyfriend, someone male who was close to you
BajanPOET – Knighted by the King says:
I’m not sure
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
yes it’s true
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
my boyfriend in London, some one emailed him last week and told him a set of nasty thinga about me
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
but he never told me, his cousin in london met me online and told me this
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
and he wont come online to talk to me
BajanPOET – Knighted by the King says:
I hear “Sex with him will be a mistake.” You need to find somewhere else to live
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
i am not living with him
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
i am atmy brother’s home
BajanPOET – Knighted by the King says:
but when u get to London?
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
no i will be at a ladies house
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
she is a christian lady
BajanPOET – Knighted by the King says:
I still feel that sex will be offered…. I am not clear on this … it is something to watch out for when you get there.
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
by him or by someone else
BajanPOET – Knighted by the King says:
someone else
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
there is the other guy from London who is telling me that he want’s to marry me he told me he is adventist
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:

BajanPOET – Knighted by the King says:
I will.
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
please dont stop talking to the lord
BajanPOET – Knighted by the King says:
Now,…. the Lord spoke these things to you for you to know he LOVES you and he wants u back
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
just tell me what he wants me to know
BajanPOET – Knighted by the King says:
you’ve turned away from him and he misses you. He knows you don’t hate him, but you’ve put him aside. Like the church in Revelation, you’ve lost your First Love and he wants you back
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
what about the other guy in london who wants to marry me
BajanPOET – Knighted by the King says:
he wants you to know he knows the intimacies of your heart. He knows you – because he created you. Turn back to him …
BajanPOET – Knighted by the King says:
“Sex with him will be a mistake” …. I’m not feeling that he’s the right one for you.
BajanPOET – Knighted by the King says:
I’m not getting any more…
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
he told me that he is adentist
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:

Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
just ask him who is the right one for me
BajanPOET – Knighted by the King says:
“Seek ye first the KINGDOM OF GOD, and HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, and all these things WILL be added to you”
BajanPOET – Knighted by the King says:
God wants you to focus on getting back to him. He will lead you to the right one
BajanPOET – Knighted by the King says:
but human relationships are not the most important right now
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:
understood
BajanPOET – Knighted by the King says:
Actually, I would like to ask you to pray right now, rededicating your life to Him… that’s the reason he started this prophetic journey with you. Type it out and let me agree with you in prayer, ok?
Kesha phenomenal strong Woman says:

No real pithy posts today… just thought I’d share some of my favourite websites that deal with the prophetic and other Godly supernatural areas… I’m linking you to their media pages, if they are available, so that if you have a broadband connection you can use your browser to listen to audio sermons or video presentations about many different subjects
- www.extremeprophetic.com – Patricia King, at the head of this ministry, teaches the Body of Christ about the prophetic through her online videos of her XPTV show (Extreme Prophetic TV that shows in the States and Canada) and online XP videos. To watch the videos, you will need to sign up as a Special Member, but it’s free.
- www.freshfire.ca – Todd Bentley’s website… I have loved to listen to his teachings and testimonies about the supernatural and the Kingdom of God. His media page has a treasure trove of messages about God’s power and his Kingdom.
- www.ibethel.org – Bill Johnson’s church in Redding, CA, where signs and wonders, miracles and healings take place daily…. His teaching is the one that catapulted me even further into seeking after the fullness of the Kingdom of God. Listen to the sermon of the week, or go to his personal website and click on “Media Center” (I can’t link to it directly, because clicking this link pops up another window that has the media info.)
- www.newwinerevival.org – Joshua Mills did not know how to play the piano or sing – until he was hit by the Holy Ghost! Now, he is a living sign and wonder – gold dust appears on him and around him as he worships God, and healings and deliverances take place while he even speaks about what he’s seeing in the Spirit as he worships! Watch the videos on his Media page.
- www.theschoolofchrist.org – Chip Brogden’s written presence is very impactful; he makes you think. He challenges and cuts across religious mindsets. Read his articles and prepare to be challenged! He also has a video feed and free MP3 messages as well.
- www.sidroth.org – The newest addition to my favourite Kingdom media page… the It’s Supernatural! TV show can be watched from this site, as Sid interviews people who have been involved in supernatural experiences. He also has an audio show, Messianic Vision. Sid is a Messianic Jew, and he himself has a call to draw Jew and Gentile into what Paul calls ‘one new man’, removing the dividing line between these two people groups, to make the Jews who don’t know Jesus jealous as they see signs and wonders… enough! Go to the site yourself and explore … <grin>
These are only some of the websites I have found while searching for information on the Kingdom of God…. Explore them all and of course, don’t just accept what is said at face value – pray and study for yourself so that God can reveal his Kingdom to you himself!
Zakar – A Word Study … and Reflections on Manhood October 20, 2007

Zakar’ – a primitive root; properly, to mark (so as to be recognized), i.e. to remember; by implication, to mention; also (as denominative from ‘zakar’ (2145)) to be male:–X burn (incense), X earnestly, be male, (make) mention (of), be mindful, recount, record(-er), remember, make to be remembered, bring (call, come, keep, put) to (in) remembrance, X still, think on, X well.
Interesting thought on manhood I heard while going to a men’s service at Restoration Ministries last night. The sermon was on the ‘male man’ and the pastor spoke of Zakar being the Hebrew word for masculinity. He said that it had two meanings – the sharp male organ (sharp? Never thought about it as sharp….hehe, no pun intended) or to remember - call to rememberance.
(Incidentally, the Hebrew for man speaks of his penis – and the Hebrew for woman means to pierce or bore through… look at this quote I found while trying to research what I was told at the assembly: ‘Male” is the Hebrew zakar from the Arabic for penis, meaning to be sharp, and “female” is the Hebrew neqebah, which means perforata, from the Hebrew naqab, to bore through. ‘ 1 Interesting, huh?)
Calling to rememberance is linked to worship, as quoted in the Voice of the Sheep blog (originally in an essay written by Timothy J. Ralston , Th.M., Ph.D., The Spirit’s Role in Corporate Worship)
“To remember” invoked the existence of a binding covenant, calling all to recognize and fulfill their responsibilities, joining with all who ever participated in the same covenant as a single community under God’s rule.“
Ralston comments that “Every festival, sacrifice, and memorial designed to promote the worship of God was instituted as a “memorial.” He goes on to speak on Passover as Israel’s act of rememberance in the Old Testament, which affirmed God’s covenant with the people; the New Testament’s equivalent is the Lord’s Supper, commonly called communion.
The linking of the male to worship is interesting. The pastor made the point that men are inherently made to worship. Makes you wonder – traditonal ‘worship teams’ are at least 80-90% female…. men are not supposed to shy away from worship, as it is built into our DNA. Food for thought…

Pointers of God: Seeing God during the Day October 18, 2007

God is great!!!!!! I’ve been seeing God work over the past couple days:
- A couple days ago I went to pay for a trip to the States that I wanted to make to go to this conference on deliverance held by Warfare Plus Ministries (www.warfareplus.com) The lady told me at first that my fare would have gone up because I was authorizing payment after her deadline – but then she asked the airline, and they let me go on with the original cost! God is good….
- I had to pay a fine for parking my car illegally last year – the money I saved from not having to pay the extra cost for my ticket went for that … isn’t God great?
- I went by a friend of mine who I’m encouraging in the prophetic. I wanted her to stretch her prophetic muscles so I challenged her to listen to the Lord to give me a prophetic word right there. God gave her Haggai 1:13-14 for me, which speaks of God confirming his presence to Zerubbabel, who was stirred up to start building the house of the Lord. I confirmed that word to her, as when God called me to prophesy, it was to see the Church built up as he would want it. The word was definitely a confirmation of God’s call on my life, but it was as much a confirmation to her that she had heard the Lord correctly. I’m just glad of what God’s been doing!
- I went with my wife to her father’s church (he’s the pastor of a traditional Pentecostal holiness church) ; we went to their prayer meeting… I had a song in the Spirit… I just started to sing these words (man, I wish I could remember the tune now: Release the revival / Revival power / Send down your fire/ Empower me!
- I had a prophetic word for the church about God resurrecting what others thought was dead … I’ve printed it out and plan to give it to the leadership today.
It’s been one awesome day… and now today while talking to one of the guys from SHARP, he’s telling me that he’s received a knighthood from Jesus (he felt the sword touch his shoulders as he was worshipping – reminds me of when the same thing happened to me a couple of months ago. What’s God doing in this time? Man, these are exciting times!!!!!!
The Power of Togetherness October 16, 2007

Two people are better than one, because they can reap more benefit from their labor.
For if they fall, one will help his companion up,but pity the person who falls down and has no one to help him up.
Furthermore, if two lie down together, they can keep each other warm, but how can one person keep warm by himself?
Although an assailant may overpower one person, two can withstand him.
Moreover, a three-stranded cord is not quickly broken.
Eccl 4:9-12 (NET)
This quote came back to mind today as my wife stood alongside me, encouraging me to pursue my dream to go to Tampa to attend a conference on deliverance ministry when I thought that the cost was too high, as I missed the deadline for the airplane fare and the cost subsequently went up. She told me, “You give up too easily… you’ve come too far to give up now – and I won’t let you.” I didn’t want to call the travel agency back. I didn’t want to fight anymore … but she is too stubborn (love you honey!) to listen to a “No”.
That Scripture in Ecclesiastes speaks to the community element of the Body of Christ; as people have said, there are many “one another’s” in the Scripture (‘love one another’, ‘confess your faults one to another’….) If we don’t stand together, we will fall separately, as a great writer has said.
Togetherness is not always easy, either. As Proverbs 27:6 says, “Faithful are the wounds of a friend, but the kisses of an enemy are excessive.” (NET) The word translated ‘faithful’ in this context shows that the wounds of a friend can be trusted because they are meant to help and not destroy – but that doesn’t mean that they are easy to take!
Yesterday, everyone from SHARP got a rather pointed (pun intended) email from the church’s accountant… we were given a rebuke that really hit me between the eyes. All of us were not giving as we should, but still reaping the benefits of those that were giving faithfully; we were also chided for not letting requests for funds be known in advance so that money could be allocated efficiently.
It affected me personally because I was guilty of letting my personal financial struggles dictate what I gave to the church; I’m sure that was the case in other people’s lives as well. It wasn’t easy to hear – actually, I must admit I felt bummed about being called out (and Satan conveniently attacked with some condemning thoughts as well.) BUT – I know that it was for our good, so that our church could grow up into maturity as responsible believers.
So – remember that your friends aren’t the ones who tell you want you want to hear – they tell you what you need to hear. It is that kind of thing that the church needs – true community, that makes iron sharpen iron (no pun that time!) That sharpening process is painful, because it causes friction, but it makes each person better in the long run.
True Community October 12, 2007

What is community? What does it constitute? Here’s a quote from a blog that I was reading that made me think – not just community because we are in a small group, not just community because we don’t go into a church building, not just community because we call ourselves a community.
I thought I could organize small groups and the occasional potluck supper or game in the park and I’d have community. I was wrong, and no one was attracted to it. My friend, on the other hand, presents a vision of friends who stand by each other through thick and thin, finding on the other side that they have something more precious than gold. Says my friend: “It’s funny how soldiers who have fought together in wars have unbreakable friendship and community.”
Here’s the point, and I am spelling it out very clearly because it’s incredibly important that we get this: You cannot organize community. You only get it by weathering the storms, going through the fire, standing tall when all fall away, coming to your friend’s defense when no one else will, and being the last ones left when the fight is over. (my emphasis)
That is a community that is appealing!
(Roger Bos – “That is Not Community” http://www.next-wave.org/dec01/thatisnotcommunity.htm)
I like the part I emphasized – “You cannot organize community.” It does not come without conflict. True community is birthed out of life – real life. Real life is full of conflict, and those people who stand with you through that conflict will have a bond with you that is stronger than steel. As Roger quotes, “Says my friend: “It’s funny how soldiers who have fought together in wars have unbreakable friendship and community.”“
Community is grown, not made. Let us strive for real community, whatever stream of Christianity we stem from – whatever stream of life we stem from.

I’ve been challenged on my tendency to talk too much. By three people over the past week. It’s a hard lesson – It’s one of my strengths, my ability to talk… but maybe it’s too easy for words to spill out.
I’ve been challenged that my need to explain things might have come from times when I had to defend the very strong physical manifestations of the presence of God on my body – shakings, especially – which made others around me afraid. Another suggestion is that it comes from having to (or feeling the need to) defend myself against the onslaught of questions my mother would ask when she wanted to get to the bottom of something.
It’s a hard lesson. Please, pray for me. I want to be free of anything that has me bound in this area. (The urge to continue this post is strong – I always could say more, explain more… but I’ve realized that the urge to explain is the symptom… so I’ll stop here.)
Peace in the Midst of the Storm October 9, 2007

Well, God’s been good to me this week! (Isn’t he always?) I have really started to experience the peace that passes all understanding over the last couple of days. Let’s set the scene:
Saturday before last, my wife and I were relaxing in bed, not really wanting to get up and face another day just yet when – *BAM! BAM! BAM!* – somebody tried to break down my front door (otherwise known as knocking.) When we got to the door we were greeted by an officer of the court, who ceremoniously presented me with two summons to traffic court for the same offense – parking near a “no waiting” sign last year.
I remember it… I was short on time and I had to run into the credit union on Fairchild Street. I didn’t want to park there, but like I said, I was short on time. I actually pulled in on the side of the road fairly quickly – you know, a split second decision. I pulled in and parked right next to the sign (yeah I know, really smart, right?) No sooner as I got out of the car and started towards the credit union I heard someone calling me. I look back, and a policeman was walking towards me. (Where did he come from?)
He upbraided me for not having any regard for the laws of the land – I mean, I was parked right next to the sign, right? – and then he reported me.
So, I have this summons. Ok. Next scene.
Friday morning, Lesanne finds a prophetic word that has been given to me by my best friend, Graham. God says in it that he’s giving me peace and that I should not let anyone take it away from me. I felt the presence of the Lord on that; God was confirming that word to me. Ok. Good.
Friday night I come home and realize that I see this letter that has been drawn up from a lawyer’s chambers, saying that the accident that I was involved in on June 9, 2006 was entirely my fault and the other party wants to settle amicably to the tune of $9,092.82.
I was like, “What????” Now, I remember that incident too…. to try to shorten this post (If you are still reading it, you are a master of patience!) I’ll just say that the lawyer says I am totally responsible for this accident because of my ‘negligence’ but that is mistaken – the insurance agents agreed that we are both responsible for the accident – he tried to overtake me as I was turning across the road to get into a gap on my right.
I would normally be really, really annoyed at this stuff… it seemed like everything was falling down on me all around – work was stressful as we are implementing a new wireless solution for the warehouse, money is tight, and now these two situations…. but the ‘peace of God, that passes all understanding, [will] guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.’
I was so peaceful throughout all of Friday (even before I got that letter Friday night) that I was releasing it as a prophetic word to people at work (that same passage I quoted above.)
SO – what’s the outcome?
Well, I still have to go to traffic court… I obviously have to plead guilty, but I’m praying for leniency as it is my first conviction (yeah, I can’t say it wasn’t my first offense – who hasn’t pulled at the side of the road to save a dollar?) I talked to my insurance agent and I explained my side – I can’t afford a lawyer, I was afraid that I’d have to go to court for this too… but he said that the insurance agency will fight on my behalf. So, that’s ongoing as well, but I still have His peace!!!!!!!
So, what do I say? I repeat the shout of the Pentecostal Christians “God is good – all the time! – and all the time – God is GOOD!!!!! AMEN

For those who don’t have the time to study the Scripture systematically by sitting at a desk and pouring over books, (Brian, Phillip, and Ryan… this is for you guys!), here are some devotionals you can use online
http://www.pray-as-you-go.org : you can download mp3 formatted devotions and listen to them daily – or download the entire week as a zip file. This is the one I use almost every day. I like its tag line: “Daily prayer for your MP3 player”
http://cofe.anglican.org/worship/dailyprayer/ is a good one – I liked it; it was a bit too long to go through daily… but it was powerful.
I’d gotten the above links from Rowland when I was trying to make time to soak in the Word… I was too busy to sit at a desk and study… I tried out all three and I kept Pray as You Go as my main way to soak on the word, because you can download the MP3 files for the whole week or just go there daily and listen while you’re doing something else… although I will tell ya it helps if you can pause for the 3 – 5 mins and concentrate while you listen.
It’s got me thinking about podcasts and more interactive ways that can help you to listen to something edifying about God while you are at work or busy elsewhere.
Check out some other sites that I found while searching:
- Geeks & God
- Extreme Prophetic free MP3 sermons
- Through the Bible C2000 (MP3 downloads of books of the Bible!!)
So… the Internet can help you seek God… keep pushing in!!!!!

I’m bringing my new friend Laurel to church today for her to meet the rest of the gang! I’m excited. I really want her to stay with us – I hope the fact we are such a ‘different’ type of church than the mainstream in the Caribbean does not phase her.
We’re gonna be talking about the relevance of the Lord’s Supper… interesting topic. I’m just excited to see what God’s going to do in all our lives.
The supernatural is starting to pop up more in our daily lives – Melinda’s had a healing when she prayed for her own ankle (Maybe God was giving her a test run? lol) and Laurel’s conversion came because of a prophetic word. All I’m saying is “More, Lord! More!!!!”
